Winery :Bernard Pertois Propriétaire – Récoltant

The family has been rooted in Le Mesnil sur Oger since 1650, and the small, family-run estate has been producing champagne for 10 generations. The property comprises around 17 hectares of exclusively Chardonnay vines of which 4.5 are located in Le Mesnil sur Oger, 7 in Chouilly and the remainder is split between Cramant and Oger. The family motto is “things work out better if you stay calm”

Location :Le Mesnil sur Oger - Côte des Blancs - Champagne

Name :A.O.C. Champagne Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs Sans Année

Grapes :100% Chardonnay

Alcohol :12 % Vol.

Vinification :This wine is made with 85% from one vintage and 15% of reserve wine followed by 48 months of on-lees (spent yeast) maturation.

Tasting Notes :The lengthy - 48 months -on- lees aging (on spent yeast) produces extremely fine bubbles and gives this champagne an elegance that is the envy of all the big names in the area. It is fresh and mineral-like to the palate, long-lasting, and excellently balanced. Its fragrant notes and citrus flavours stand out at once, followed by a sensation of toasted bread.
