This winery came into being in the first half of the 20th century thanks to the hard work of its founder, Giuseppe Alagna, the first local person to recognise the potential of the wine market and used his farming and entrepreneurial expertise to launch his own winery. Today, it is Ercole Alagna who is carrying on the family traditions and exemplifies how continuing innovation is possible.

Alcohol: :16,5 % Vol.

Vinification :A dessert wine made with grapes that have slightly dried out on the vine. A small quantity of alcohol is added during fermentation to ensure that the sugars do not all turn into alcohol. All stages of vilification take place in steel vats in order not to compromise the sensorial qualities of the grape.

Tasting Notes :The bright amber colour immediately turns the mind to something soft and sweet whilst the complex and very intense bouquet speaks of elegance in a succession of spicy and fruity aromas like date, fig jam, saffron and candied orange. Sweet and powerful on the palate, in line with its bouquet with harsh and soft qualities in perfect harmony. A pervasive and spicy finish.
